The fact of the matter is if you can look at a website and guess it’s age, that is not a good thing. You minimize the chat but the chat ‘button’ remains in the corner of your screen even as you scroll through the pages. That’s what makes the bar or button ‘sticky’; it’s not fixed to the page but rather goes where you go.
For example, for our client Barrier Reef Medical Centre we designed a horizontal sticky bar that follows you as you scroll through the pages (click on the website and check it out). This means that no matter where you are on the page, you can always access the website navigation, call now button, book appointments, and social media links, amongst other options.
